It has been stated that the information exchange is designed to make use of the support provided by the European Union in education and training.
The Minister of Higher Education and Development, State Minister, Honorable Mr. Kora Tushune, who was present on the program, thanked the European Union for the support and cooperation of education and training in “ERASMUS+”.
Model supports and collaborations have a significant role in building the capacity of higher education institutions and promoting international cooperation. The state minister has stated that they should utilize the opportunities available.
The European Union’s ambassador to Ethiopia, her excellency Sophie From Emsberger has stated that the European Union has given free education to 650 Ethiopians and that the support will continue.
Dr. Eba Mijena, the executive director of higher education development in the ministry of education, has provided a very encouraging statement on the benefits of supporting and collaborations in building the capacity of the higher education sector.
Higher education institution’s Presidents, Academic directors, student union, and other stakeholders have attended the program both in physical and virtual form.
